Who I work with

Four kinds of healthcare companies, each with its own money problems.

Medtech device companies

  • Runway to FDA clearance or a 510(k) submission
  • Testing, regulatory and launch costs that land in lumps
  • When to start the next raise

Biotech

  • Runway to IND and clinical readouts
  • Grants and other non-dilutive cash, tracked and reported
  • Trial budgets and a board-ready model

Health SaaS and AI health

  • Burn, ARR and runway reported the same way every month
  • CAC payback and burn multiple
  • A model that's ready for the next round

Compounding pharmacies, 503A and 503B

  • Margin by product line
  • Cash tied up between ingredients, shelf and getting paid
  • Payer mix and reimbursement

The check

Pick what kind of company you run. The questions and the result change to fit. Rough numbers from your bank balance and last month's spend are fine.

  1. Your type. Medtech, biotech, health SaaS or compounding pharmacy.
  2. Your numbers. Cash, spend, and a few numbers for your type.
  3. Your result. Shown right below, worked out on this page.

The math runs in your browser. Nothing you type here is sent or stored.

Who's behind it

Tyler Clark, fractional CFO for medtech device companies, biotech, health SaaS and AI health companies, and 503A and 503B compounding pharmacies. Finance degree from Texas A&M. He builds the model your board and investors trust, ties your budget to your milestones or product lines, and shows you where your cash is going.

Clark Advisory is new, so there are no client results to show yet. Here's what the diagnostic hands you instead:

The founding diagnostic

Two weeks, built from your real books. For medtech and biotech: a runway model, a budget tied to your regulatory or clinical milestones, and a raise-readiness review of your numbers and data room, including grants. For health SaaS: burn, ARR, CAC payback and a Series-ready model. For compounding pharmacies: margin by product line, reimbursement and payer mix, and how long your cash is tied up. You get the moves that matter most, in order.

The first 3 companies, of any of the four types, get it at $1,500 instead of $2,500, until December 31, 2026. In exchange, you give a written case study and a review, if you're satisfied. After 3 spots, the regular $2,500 applies.

  • Then optional monthly work at $5,000 to $8,000 a month

About the numbers

Who sees my numbers?

Only you see your numbers. The check runs in your browser, and your numbers are never stored or sent to Tyler. If you ask for the email, only your email address comes to Tyler, and he emails you a link back to the check. Your numbers never leave your browser. If you book the call, you choose what to share on it. Read the privacy page.

Are rough numbers fine?

Yes. Your bank balance, last month's spend and a few rough figures for your type are enough to see the shape of things.

What can't the check see?

Hiring plans, FDA or trial delays, reimbursement changes, grant timing, seasonality and anything not in the numbers you typed. That's what the diagnostic works through with your full books.

I run a pharmacy, not a startup. Is this for me?

Yes. Pick compounding pharmacy in the check. You get margin by product line, your cash conversion cycle and how much of your sales depend on PBMs or insurance.

Does Tyler raise money for me?

Tyler gets your numbers, model and data room ready to raise and works alongside your team and advisors. He is a fractional CFO, not a broker-dealer, and does not sell securities.

What happens on the 15-minute call?

You and Tyler look at your result together. You leave knowing what it means, what to do first, and whether the diagnostic fits.
